This was the unexpected sunset on a chilly Fall evening at the park with Mak and Vienna, the tiny little moon that captivated me. It was so briefly here and gone, but I caught it and that feels like a treasure. 

When what’s in my head connects with what ends up on paper, I can’t describe it, but it just lures me in even further to fall in love with painting. And why I have to keep my eyes open for unexpected surprises each day.
